Everlasting death

Everlasting Death
This is a 9 by 12 inch piece done in color pencil. It is a light study for the Darkness series of my original 'Dream Carriers' series.
This spider is definitely more menacing than the other piece done and I was aiming to show its malevolence.

Selling price: $150.

Sketch

'Black' and white

Working on some smaller sketches right now. This is on a 9 by 12 inch paper (Borden & Riley pastel & charcoal) done in color pencils. I am planning to sell these unframed for a cheaper price ($150).

Castro Street Fair

Showing at the fair
After a couple of nights at the Pancakes and Booze show, I had another showing with the Guild at the Castro Street Fair. The atmosphere was super festive and there was a huge turnout! Besides great original pieces, there were lots of other interesting 'things' to feast your eyes on.

I'm going to have a couple of weekday shows this month at Union Square. Do drop by if you are in the city!

Music Concourse

Setting up
Dream Carriers around the fountain
Had another show last Saturday with the Artist's Guild at the Music Concourse at the Golden Gate Park. Weather was fantastic and there was an excellent turn out. The area was gorgeous and just flanking the concourse was the De Young museum as well as the California Academy of Science.

The art shows are an excellent way for people to see the work right in front of their eyes. It is super accessible and I would encourage any questions you may have.

Washington Square

My dream carriers series
Last weekend I had a show with the Artist's Guild of San Francisco at Washington Square. This is a pretty cool spot. I like being on the grass and observing all the action around North Beach. I will be showcasing my Dream Carriers series every weekend with the guild at different spots around San Francisco.

I usually keep my calendar updated with my upcoming shows. Do come and check it out and say hello!

Sulphur butterfly - blue-green

As an artist, I am constantly experimenting with my work. This is my latest piece – all done in pastels. I was trying to capture the luminosity of the sulphur butterfly and pastels are the perfect medium to accomplish this.

I just got the frame done for this – using museum glass (non-glare) and a frame with a leafy texture.

Any takers?
